I worked on PRIDE — the Package Rate Intelligence & Delivery Engine — the system responsible for computing shipping costs for every international FedEx shipment. This platform processes hundreds of variables including package dimensions, weight, origin country, destination country, service tier, fuel surcharges, zone classifications, and route-specific pricing rules to arrive at the correct shipping cost in near real time.
